Department Descriptions


Assist core BBF staff with load-in and/or load-out procedures to ensure safety and efficiency.Load-In/Load-Out



Assist with the flow of traffic in and out of the various festival parking areas and thoroughfares, including shuttling attendees with golf carts. Parking



Serve as the main point of contact for conflict resolution using deescalation techniques and emergency preparedness policies. Training provided. Safety



Responsible for waste and recycling duties throughout event grounds while ensuring we stay on mission as a Toward Zero Waste Festival.Green Team



tasks pertaining to the live music area, including band load-in and load-out.Main Stage



Assist with the execution of education panels in the Squalicum Boathosue.Panels



Assist attendees by answering questions and providing helpful information and directions.Information



Assist with the handling of food and beverage items in the volunteer and VIP areas. A valid Food Handlers Permit is required to work in this department.Hospitality



Assist attendees in all first aid related instances and communicate with emergency staff as necessary. CPR Certification preferred.First Aid
